NOTE: If code 96-2 appears after the fuel system was repaired or fuel filters changed, clear the codes and test drive to see if they come back.
PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Below 25% fuel level.
2. Fuel contamination (water, DEF, gas, coolant, etc…).
3. Fuel leaks.
4. Fuel level sensor.
5. Fuel level sensor wiring/connector.
