VOLVOUU All Engines (2017 Emissions) Fault Code: P040B64 PID: EMS Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature Sensor “A” Circuit Range/Performance
Circuit description
This function is used to check if the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) temperature sensor is working and check the status on the EGR cooler. If the sensor should show a value above limit due to extreme driving or malfunction in the cooler, the Engine Control Module (ECM) will derate the engine to avoid damage.
