VOLVOUU All Engines (2013 Emissions) Fault Code: P054500 PID: ACM Exhaust Gas Temperature Short Circuit Low

The function identifies the exhaust temperature and indicates malfunction in the exhaust system. The evaluation is done at engine load after an engine cold start via three different temperature sensors. The exhaust gas temperature is used to determine when regeneration will run.

Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC):
1) Short circuit to lower voltage

Probable cause
1) Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor

3) Connector
4) Aftertreatment Control Module (ACM)
