VOLVOUU All Engines (2013 Emissions) Fault Code: P054415 PID: ACM Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1
The function identifies the exhaust temperature and indicates malfunction in the exhaust system. The evaluation is done at engine load after an engine cold start via three different temperature sensors. The exhaust gas temperature is used to determine when regeneration will run.
Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC):
1) Open circuit
2) Short circuit to battery voltage
Probable cause
1) Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor
2) Wiring harness
3) Connector
4) Aftertreatment Control Module (ACM)
