Circuit description
This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) monitors and evaluates malfunctions in the (EGR) Exhaust Gas Recirculation Diff Pressure. A faulty (EGR) Exhaust Gas Recirculation differential Pressure can lead to uneven running and response problems.

The sensor signal is above normal range

Activation
When the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is active the engine control module (ECM) investigates during an extra driving cycle whether the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) should be lit. If the DTC is active after the investigation the lamp lights up.
