VOLVOUU All Engines (2013 Emissions) Fault Code: P018013 PID: EMS Fuel Temperature Sensor “A” Circuit

The Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors the voltage drop across the sensor and uses this signal to warn the driver and derate the engine to avoid engine damage if the signal is not within programmed limits.

Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC):
1) The voltage at pin A14.EB:32 is above normal value

1) Connector
2) Open circuit, Ground wire
3) Open circuit, Signal wire
4) Oil temperature sensor
5) Engine control module (ECM)
