If code PID 190 is displayed, the engine has been over speeding. The engine could be running on engine oil from a faulty crankcase oil filter or worn engine piston rings. The engine speed will be limited to approximately 1200 rpm and the (VCB) VOLVOUU Compression Brake will be activated to lower the engine speed. Diagnose and repair the engine over speed condition.

1) Wrong gear may be engaged (when engine braking)
