DESCRIPTION:
This fault indicates the aftertreatment control module (ACM) has detected a sudden temperature shift on the diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) outlet temperature sensor.
MONITORED PARAMETER:
DOC outlet temperature.
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
DOC outlet temperature greater than 150°C (302°F).

10 seconds

1. CEL
2. MIL
ENGINE REACTION:
None
VERIFICATION:
Low temp ATD check.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Wiring concern.
2. Poor terminal fit.
3. Corrosion.
4. Chaffing.
NOTE: If codes 3250-3 or 3250-4 active, fix those first.
PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. DOC outlet temperature sensor.
2. DOC outlet temperature sensor harness/connector.
